Socomec Appoints Nida Khanam as HR Head for Greater India Region
Khanam, who previously served as the Chief People Officer for Omega Seiki Mobility Pvt. Ltd., brings a wealth of expertise in HR strategy development and change management.

Socomec, a Low Voltage (LV) power management company, has announced the appointment of Nida Khanam, a seasoned HR professional with two decades of experience, as the HR Head for the Greater India region, encompassing India, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Maldives, Bhutan, and Nepal.
This appointment comes as part of Socomec's strategic efforts to strengthen its human resources capabilities and align with its Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) objectives.
Khanam, who previously served as the Chief People Officer for Omega Seiki Mobility Pvt. Ltd., brings a wealth of expertise in HR strategy development and change management. Her extensive background spans various industries, including automotive, manufacturing, and technology. Throughout her career, Khanam has demonstrated a keen ability to drive organizational development initiatives, talent management, and employee lifecycle management.
In her new role at Socomec India, Khanam will oversee HR functions across commercial and plant operations. Her responsibilities will include enhancing employee engagement, talent development, and organizational effectiveness.

Khanam's qualifications include an Associate Certified Coach (ACC) from the International Coaching Federation, as well as a Senior Management Program certification from IIM-Calcutta. She holds an MBA in Human Resources and Agribusiness from A.M.U.
