Skipper Ltd Secures Rs 524 Crore Order from PGCIL for Transmission Line

It would be manufacturing and installing a 765kV, 190 km Hexa Zebra Conductor Transmission Line from Fatehgarh to Bhadla

Skipper Ltd has announced that it has bagged a Rs 524 crore project from PGCIL (Power Grid Corporation of India Limited) Kolkata for supply and installation of 190 km transmission line from Fatehgarh to Bhadla in Rajasthan.

Skipper, which titles to be one of the world's leading manufacturers of power transmission & distribution structures bagged the project through a tariff-based competitive bidding conducted by Power Finance Corporation for Green Energy Corridor projects. It would be manufacturing and installing a 765kV, 190 km Hexa Zebra Conductor Transmission Line from Fatehgarh to Bhadla.

Sharan Bansal, director, Skipper Ltd said "We have the manufacturing and execution capabilities to deliver under stringent schedules while conforming to global standards. The domestic transmission and distribution market has seen muted ordering for the past 18 months. However, now with the bids being finalized for the Green energy corridors, we are optimistic for better order inflows in the months to come.
