SJVN Receives Dual Honors at CIDC Vishwakarma Awards 2024

SJVN Limited, a public sector undertaking, has clinched two awards at the 15th CIDC Vishwakarma Awards 2024, organized by the Construction Industry Development Council. The company has been honored with the 'Achievement Award for Creating Social Development and Impact' and the 'CIDC Partners in Progress Trophy'.
Chairperson and Managing Director of SJVN and Chairperson of CSR Foundation, Geeta Kapur, expressed gratitude for the recognition, emphasizing the significance of these accolades in acknowledging SJVN's commitment to driving positive change through innovative and sustainable Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives. She proudly announced that these prestigious awards mark the company's third consecutive win, highlighting SJVN's dedication to societal welfare. "We are immensely proud of being recognized for our contribution to society, and we will continue our unwavering efforts to make a meaningful impact," stated Kapur.

To date, the company has invested over INR 450 crores in a diverse array of CSR activities encompassing education and skill development, health and hygiene, infrastructural development and community asset creation, sustainable development, assistance during natural disasters, and preservation and promotion of local culture and sports.
The awards were graciously accepted on behalf of SJVN by CGM (HR), Baljeet Singh, during a ceremony held at the India Habitat Centre, New Delhi.
The CIDC Vishwakarma Awards have evolved into a symbol of recognition for organizations and individuals excelling across various domains, particularly in corporate social responsibility.
