SJVN Invites Bids for 5.83 MW Rooftop Solar Projects in Delhi, MP, UP, Haryana, Maharashtra and Rajasthan

SJVN Ltd. has issued a tender to select developers for 5830 kW of grid-connected rooftop solar projects on Union government buildings across Delhi, Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Gujarat, Maharashtra, and Rajasthan under the ‘PM Surya Ghar: Muft Bijli Yojana’ through tariff-based competitive bidding.

SJVN Ltd. has floated a tender to select solar rooftop power developers for a cumulative capacity of 5830 kW of grid-connected rooftop solar power projects (without battery storage) on Union government buildings in the states of NCT of Delhi, Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Gujarat, Maharashtra and Rajasthan under RESCO mode through tariff-based competitive bidding under ‘PM Surya Ghar: Muft Bijli Yojana’.

The estimated value of the tender is INR 29.15 crore. The projects must be completed in 6 months.

The last date for submission of bids is November 14, 2024 till 11:00 AM. The techno-commercial bids will be opened at 3:00 PM on November 14, 2024.

The bidders need to pay INR 5,900 as a bid document fee and another INR 5,900 as a bid processing fee. Bidders also need to deposit INR 1,000/kW of the quoted capacity as an earnest money deposit (EMD).

The bidder must have experience in the design, supply, installation and commissioning of grid-connected rooftop solar PV power plants in India of cumulative installed capacity of 500 kWp or higher in the last 7 years prior to the last day of the month previous to the one in which the RfS is invited.

Additionally, out of the above-stated cumulative installed capacity, at least one grid-connected rooftop solar PV power plant should have been of 100 kWp or higher capacity. These reference plants must have been in successful operation for at least 6 months ending prior to the last day of the month previous to the one in which the RfS is invited.

It further clarified that capacity below 10 kWp at a single installation shall not be considered in qualifying cumulative installed capacity and a single utility meter shall be considered as one installation.

The net worth shall be positive in two years out of the last three immediately preceding financial years ending on March 31, 2024. However, the net worth of the immediately preceding financial year i.e. FY 2023-24 must be positive.

Additionally, the bidder shall demonstrate a minimum average annual turnover of INR 15,000 /kW of the total quoted capacity during the last three financial years ending on March 31, 2024.
