SJVN Green Energy Invites Bids for 100 MW Solar Power Project in Rajasthan

SJVN Green Energy Limited (SGEL), a wholly owned subsidiary of SJVN Limited, has announced a tender inviting bids for the design, engineering, supply, erection, testing, and commissioning, including three years of comprehensive operation and maintenance, for a 100 MW (AC) solar power project located at Nawa, Didwana Kuchaman, Rajasthan. 

The project is being offered through domestic competitive bidding, with bid documents available for download from April 4, 2024, until April 25, 2024. The bid document costs INR 5,000 plus 18 percent GST, and a bid security/earnest money deposit of INR 12.20 crores is required to be submitted. 

The pre-bid meeting is scheduled for April 16, 2024, at 11:00 AM, with the venue being SJVN Green Energy Limited's Corporate Head Quarter in Shimla, conducted via video conferencing. 

The deadline for bid submission is April 26, 2024, at 2:00 PM, with the opening of the Techno-Commercial Bid scheduled for the same day at 3:00 PM. The last date for submission of hard copy documents is May 1, 2024, by 6:00 PM. The bid validity period is 120 days from the last date of submission, with the possibility of extensions.

In terms of technical criteria, bidders must have experience in designing, supplying, erecting, and commissioning solar photovoltaic (SPV) based grid-connected power plants of cumulative installed capacity of 30 MWp or higher, with at least one plant being of 10 MWp or higher capacity, operational for a minimum of three months prior to the issuance of the tender. Alternatively, bidders can qualify if they have developed such plants. Additionally, bidders should have executed an industrial project either as a developer or as an EPC contractor.

Financially, bidders must demonstrate an annual average turnover for the financial years 2020-21, 2021-22, and 2022-23 of at least INR 183 Crores. The net worth must be positive during the financial year 2022-23 and in at least two out of three financial years, i.e., 2020-21, 2021-22, and 2022-23, based on unconsolidated audited annual accounts. 

The solar modules to be used for this project shall be sourced only from the models and manufacturers included in the latest Approved List of Manufacturers (ALMM) issued by MNRE.
