Singareni Collieries Invites Bids for 5 MW Rooftop Solar Plants in Telangana

The Singareni Collieries Company (SCCL) has invited bids to set up 5,000 kWp of grid-connected rooftop solar systems on its residential and office buildings in Telangana. Bid submission ends on May 23, 2025.

The Singareni Collieries Company (SCCL) has floated a tender for setting up grid-connected rooftop solar plants of a cumulative capacity of 5,000 kWp(DC) on the colony residential buildings and office buildings.

The scope of work includes the design, engineering, procurement, supply, installation, testing and commissioning of the rooftop solar plants. The bidders must provide 10 years of comprehensive operation and maintenance.

The estimated value of the tender is INR 25 crore.

Bidders need to furnish INR 25 lakh as an earnest money deposit (EMD).

The last date for submission of bids is May 23, 2025.

The total capacity will be awarded to a single successful bidder.

The PV module technology must be MONO-PERC Crystalline and its rating should be 540Wp or above. The PV module must be listed in the ALMM.

The solar PV module supplier must have supplied a cumulative minimum of 500 MW in India in the last five financial years.

The bidder must have experience either as an EPC contractor or a developer in the execution of grid-connected ground-mounted or rooftop solar projects of cumulative capacity not less than 500 kW(AC) in the last seven financial years.

Out of the above at least five grid-connected ground-mounted or rooftop solar projects must have an individual capacity of 10 kW each. However, such solar PV power plant capacity must have been in satisfactory operation for at least six months prior to the last date of bid submission.

The bidder’s Minimum Average Annual Turnover (MAAT) must be INR 4.50 crore for the last three financial years. The net worth for the last audited financial year must be positive.

Additionally, the bidder must possess a minimum working capital of INR 3 crore or have a line of credit for at least INR 3 crore to meet the working capital requirement for the project.
