In a significant move toward expanding India's electric mobility landscape, Simple Energy, the country's leading electric vehicle and clean energy startup, has unveiled its latest offering, the Simple Dot One.

Priced at an exclusive introductory rate of INR 99,999 (ex-showroom Bangalore) for pre-booked Simple One customers in Bangalore, this limited offer is available until the inventory lasts.

Open for online bookings, the Dot One is part of Simple Energy's commitment to making EV ownership more accessible, targeting a diverse demographic across the country.

The Dot One, a completely Made-In-India product, emerges as a sub-variant based on the platform of the innovative Simple One. Positioned as an appealing and affordable choice for entry-level buyers in the sustainable electric mobility sector, the Dot One is available in a single variant equipped with a fixed battery. Boasting a certified range of 151 km and 160 km in IDC, it claims the title of the longest-range electric two-wheeler in its segment.

The scooter, available in Namma Red, Brazen Black, Grace White, and Azure Blue, comes with a 750W charger. Responding to consumer demand, the Dot One will also be offered in LightX and BrazenX color options, adding variety and customization to the user experience. Deliveries will commence in Bangalore initially, followed by other cities in a phased manner.

Noteworthy features include specially designed tires to maximize on-road range, making it the fastest electric two-wheeler in its segment with an impressive 0 to 40 kmph acceleration in 2.77 seconds. With 12-inch wheels on both ends and 90-90 tubeless tires, the Dot One promises exceptional road performance.

Its 3.7 kWh battery capacity and 8.5 kW electric motor deliver a peak torque output of 72 Nm. Safety features include CBS and efficient disc brakes, complemented by a substantial 35-liter under-seat storage.

The scooter also boasts a user-friendly touchscreen instrument cluster, offering diverse functionality and seamless app connectivity for an enhanced riding experience.
