Siemens Energy Appoints Anne-Laure, Vinod Philip to its Executive Board

Following the new organizational structure, the Supervisory Board of Siemens Energy has appointed Anne-Laure de Chammard and Vinod Philip as its new Executive Board members.

Following the new organizational structure, the Supervisory Board of Siemens Energy has appointed Anne-Laure de Chammard and Vinod Philip as its new Executive Board members.
 
Anne-Laure de Chammard would be responsible for the transformation of the industry business area effective from November 1, 2022.
 
Vinod Philip, currently Head of Strategy and Chief Technology Officer, would be responsible for the Management of Global Functions (such as IT, Procurement, Innovation, Project execution among others), effective from October 1, 2022.
 
Commenting on the new appointments, Joe Kaeser, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Siemens Energy, said “with Anne-Laure and Vinod, we have been able to win over two knowledgeable experts as well as excellent and empathic leaders. They have all the right ingredients it takes to successfully lead and transform one of the most relevant industries of our time. They also add even more diversity in all aspects to the management team.”
 
Anne-Laure de Chammard, CEO of ENGIE Energy Solutions International, is currently responsible for ENGIE’s entire Energy Solutions business outside of France. She is a French citizen and holds master’s degrees in engineering from Ecole Polytechnique and from Ecole des Ponts, and holds a master's degree from Harvard University. She has extensive global management experience in the areas of industrial and energy services, strategy, innovation, research & technology, and was responsible for public-private partnerships at the French Ministry of Energy and the Environment.
 
Vinod Philip has worked in the energy industry for almost 25 years. Prior to his current role, he had held various global management roles within Siemens AG including CTO for the Power & Gas Division and head of the Service Business Unit for Power Generation. He has, comprehensive experience, inter alia, in strategy, energy services, innovation and research & technology. He is an American citizen and holds a master’s degree in Materials Science and a master’s in International Business.
