SHELL LUBRICANTS organises 1st Technical Seminar for Construction & Cement Customers

Shell Lubricants has announced that it has marks yet another technology leadership milestone with the launch of its first technical seminar for its construction & cement customers in Hyderabad. Keeping pace with the rapid developments in this sector and changing consumer demands, the core objective of the seminar was to showcase Shell Lubricants’ cutting-edge technical solutions offered in Construction & Cement sector. Special emphasis was on showcasing the lubricants formulated to improve the performance of an engine and its components.

The event witnessed over 50 participants from different Construction & Cement companies like Reliance ADAG, ILFS, Powermech, Ultratech Cement, Ramky Infra, IVRCL, India Cements, Ambuja Cement, Jaypee Cement amongst others.  The forum provided an opportunity for the participants to discuss their challenges in hydraulic lubrication and solutions with leading technical experts who shared insights and solutions to help address these challenges. Some of the key topics discussed at the seminar were: technology trends in open gear grease, challenges in bearing lubrication and solutions, Shell’s engine oil solution for off highway fleets amongst others.

The sessions at the technology forum were led by Brett Hearn, Product Application Specialist- APAC. Other Shell experts who addressed the forum included Vineet Thakar, National Sales Manager, Ajay Agarwal, Technical Team Leader, India, K V Anand, Lubricant Technical Advisor, India and Umesh Dwivedi, BDM- Grease, India.
