Sharika Enterprises Secures INR 15.57 Crore Contract from NHPC for Rooftop Solar Projects in J&K
Sharika Enterprises Ltd. has secured an INR 15.57 crore contract from NHPC to develop 4 MW rooftop solar projects in Jammu & Kashmir.

Noida-based Sharika Enterprises Ltd. has announced that the company has secured an INR 15.57 crore work contract from NHPC Ltd.
The contract is for the development of rooftop solar power projects with a total capacity of 4 MW on buildings of NHPC in Jammu & Kashmir, the company stated in a regulatory filing.
It further added the timeframe for the completion of the EPC portion of the contract is 9 months. Further, the company needs to provide comprehensive operation and maintenance services for 5 years.
Earlier this month, the company secured an INR 5.74 crore work contract from POWERGRID for the supply and installation of rooftop solar system on government buildings in Ladakh/Rajasthan and on POWERGRID’s building in Northern Region under PM Surya Ghar-Mufti Bijli Yojna.
Sharika Enterprises Ltd., established in 1998, began as a consultancy in the power and telecom sectors. Over the years, the company diversified into technology, engineering, construction, manufacturing, and consultancy services, executing projects across India.
The company specialises in turnkey electrical contracts, including supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of EHV cables, transformers, switchgear, autoreclosers, and unmanned substations, handling voltages from 11kV to 400kV. Its expertise spans EHV cable laying, GIS installations, and industrial switchyards, delivering integrated solutions for the power sector.
The company has also ventured into renewable energy, becoming a channel partner with SECI and MNRE for grid-connected and off-grid solar systems in Northern and Eastern India.
