Serentica Renewables Procures 1.25 GW Round-The-Clock Renewable Power Agreements

The company proposes to deploy 4 GW of renewable energy capacities throughout a number of states in the nation.

Serentica Renewables has inked Power Delivery Agreements (PDAs) overall of more than 1.25 GW with multiple industrial consumers.

These agreements in expansion to the 580 MW PDAs signed earlier this year highlight a substantial expansion of Serentica’s renewable energy portfolio.

Serentica proposes to deploy 4 GW of renewable energy capacities throughout a number of states in the nation.

The projects will integrate a mix of wind and solar energy generation, accompanied by innovative balancing solutions like energy storage.

Serentica has procured linkage to the inter-state transmission system (ISTS) in Karnataka, Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh, and Rajasthan, where it will establish these solar and wind capacities.

The ambitious portfolio aims to supply more than 9 billion units (BUs) of clean energy annually, effectively offsetting a staggering 8.5 million tonnes of CO2 emissions.

Akshay Hiranandani, CEO of Serentica Renewables, stressed the significance of India’s energy transition in fulfilling the nation’s growing energy needs and combating climate change.

He highlghted about Serentica’s pledge to address the complex challenges of clean energy delivery and decarbonizing India’s industrial backbone.
