Senvion India has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Integrum Energy to supply and commission up to 50 units of the 4.2M160 model at Windergy 2025. This collaboration represents a potential capacity addition of 210 MW across Tamil Nadu, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Gujarat, and Karnataka.

Senvion's modular 4XM platform includes the 4.2M160, designed and built in India with over 85 percent locally sourced content. It features a 160-metre rotor, advanced control systems, and data-driven operations and maintenance - engineered to deliver higher annual energy production and lower lifecycle costs across diverse wind regimes.

“Today marks a defining moment for Senvion India. The unveiling of our engineered-in-India 4.2M160 prototype, alongside this MoU with Integrum, reflects the trust our partners place in our technology and execution. We’ve built a platform that’s modular, deeply localised, and ready to scale - and we’re proud to see it powering India’s clean energy future with speed, reliability, and impact,” said Amit Kansal, CEO & MD, Senvion India

Deliveries under the MoU are expected to begin in Q2 FY27 (July-September 2026), with phased erection and commissioning to follow. The scope includes supply, supervision, and commissioning.

“At Integrum Energy, we’re focused on building a new generation of renewable assets that combine strong technology fundamentals with deep execution capability. Partnering with Senvion India for their locally engineered 4.2M160 turbine reflects our shared belief in India’s potential to lead the clean energy transition through innovation and self-reliance. This collaboration strengthens our hybrid and standalone wind pipeline across five states and reinforces our commitment to deliver efficient, reliable, and sustainable power solutions to C&I customers,” said Anand Lahoti, Founder and Managing Director, Integrum Energy Infrastructure.
