SECI Calls for Bids for 25 MW Solar PV Power Plant with Battery Energy Storage System in Leh
The bidding process will follow a Single Stage Two Envelope Bidding Procedure, followed by e-Reverse Auction.

Solar Energy Corporation of India Limited has issued an Invitation for Bids (IFB) for the design, engineering, supply, construction, erection, testing, commissioning, and O&M of a 25 MW (AC) Solar PV Power Plant (50 MWp DC) with a 20 MW / 50 MWh Battery Energy Storage System at Taru, Leh, UT of Ladakh, India.
The bidding process will follow a Single Stage Two Envelope Bidding procedure, followed by e-Reverse Auction, as detailed in the bidding documents.
The processing fee for participating in the tender is set at INR 25,000/-, inclusive of GST at 18 percent. Additionally, prospective bidders are required to submit an Earnest Money Deposit (EMD) amounting to INR 7,41,00,000.
The deadline for both offline and online bid submissions is May 13, 2024. Subsequently, the bid opening conducted both offline and online, is also scheduled for May 13, 2024. Furthermore, the financial bid opening will be intimated after the shortlisting of Techno Commercial Bids.
The tender mandates the use of both solar photovoltaic (SPV) cells and modules manufactured domestically, as per specifications and testing requirements fixed by MNRE. Both solar cells and modules must be made in India, with modules sourced from manufacturers listed in the ALMM list, published and updated by MNRE from time to time. For Crystalline Silicon Technology, all process steps and quality control measures involved in the manufacture of solar cells and modules must be performed at the works of PV manufacturers in India.
