Schneider Electric Showcases Smart Energy Solutions at ELECRAMA 2025

Schneider Electric, a technology company specialising in energy management, automation, and digital transformation solutions, showcased a comprehensive range of digital and automation technologies at ELECRAMA 2025. These solutions are designed to support industries, infrastructure, data centres, buildings, and homes.
The company exhibited cutting-edge innovations and sustainable solutions, reaffirming its commitment to accelerating India’s energy transition and industrial self-reliance. According to the company, with 31 manufacturing facilities across the country, Schneider Electric has positioned India as a key global hub for manufacturing and R&D. These facilities support local production, ensuring shorter lead times and reinforcing India's importance in the global supply chain.
At ELECRAMA 2025, Schneider Electric showcased products from Schneider Electric, Lauritz Knudsen (formerly L&T Switchgear), AVEVA, eTAP, and more. These brands introduced cutting-edge energy management and industrial automation technologies, helping businesses enhance efficiency, resilience, and sustainability.
Deepak Sharma, Zone President—Greater India, MD and CEO, Schneider Electric India, highlighted the company’s focus on delivering value-driven solutions. He stated, "Our portfolio is designed to support India Inc. in its journey towards digitalisation and decarbonisation.
As we enter the next phase of growth, Schneider Electric remains steadfast in supporting the Indian government’s Atmanirbhar Bharat vision, fostering industrial excellence and sustainability." Schneider Electric introduced a series of advanced innovations designed to drive sustainability, energy efficiency, and digital transformation across industries.
GM AirSeT is an eco-friendly, gas-free switchgear that replaces traditional SF6 gas insulation with pure-air technology, aligning with global sustainability regulations. Also making its debut was GM Set, a made-in-India gas-insulated switchgear that ensures shorter lead times, 24/7 service support, and advanced energy management technology, reinforcing the company’s commitment to local manufacturing.
The company also unveiled Software-Defined Automation, a data-driven open automation platform built on EcoStruxure architecture, integrating AVEVA’s industrial software to enable future-ready operations. For enhanced safety in residential spaces, the Acti9 Active Safety System (AFDD) was introduced as an intelligent electrical protection system designed to improve safety and energy efficiency in homes. In the industrial segment, TeSYS Tera & Deca was launched as an advanced motor management system, ensuring optimised performance and reliability.
Further enhancing electrical infrastructure, Schneider Electric presented the Digital Switchboard, a low-voltage switchboard integrated with smart sensors, meters, and communicable breakers, providing real-time insights and predictive analytics for better energy management.
Additionally, the company introduced the EcoCare Membership program, an AI-driven service offering that includes predictive maintenance, remote monitoring, and extended warranty coverage for its entire product portfolio. Under its Lauritz Knudsen brand, Schneider Electric launched several next-generation electrical and automation solutions tailored to India's diverse industrial needs. The Omega UZ ACB, an advanced air circuit breaker, comes equipped with Ethernet, Bluetooth, and NFC connectivity, allowing seamless communication via the SmartComm digital platform.
Complementing this was the Dsine DZ MCCB, a high-performance moulded case circuit breaker designed specifically for renewable energy applications, featuring modular digital trip units and enhanced system coordination. Expanding its presence in industrial automation, the company launched a new range of solutions, including variable frequency drives (VFDs), programmable logic controllers (PLCs), and human-machine interfaces (HMIs), optimised for discrete process automation. In the smart home segment, Schneider Electric introduced enConnect Home Automation, a Wi-Fi-enabled system offering smart switches, lighting, and curtain controls, powered by a cloud-based IoT platform.
For power system protection, the company unveiled new numerical protection relays designed for low- and medium-voltage applications, featuring comprehensive protection, control, and communication capabilities. Schneider Electric introduced a full EV ecosystem, which includes EV chargers, the SmartComm Charge Management System (CMS), and cloud-based customer applications, supporting the growing electric vehicle infrastructure in India.
The company also introduced Farm Automation Solutions, a digital irrigation management system aimed at enhancing agricultural efficiency and water conservation through automation, further strengthening Schneider Electric’s role in sustainable and smart infrastructure development.
