Ruchira Green Earth Plans Rs 200 Cr Investment to Expand Li-Ion Battery Manufacturing

With an aim to tap the growing demand for e-mobility in India, Ruchira Green Earth is planning to set up a new Lithium-Ion (Li-Ion) battery manufacturing plant with an investment of Rs 200 crore in India.

Ruchira Green Earth has already been manufacturing Li-Ion batteries in Yamuna Nagar, Haryana, and it’s planning to further enhance its manufacturing capacity and transforming it with aim to fulfil the rising demand for its exclusive product line.

The company is already producing a wide-range of EV batteries under its flagship brand AKIRA. It has already secured contracts from OEM’s such as Gemopai, Tunwal, Myantra, Benling, Komaki etc for supply of Li-Ion batteries for the electric two-wheelers scooters.

Meanwhile, the company is looking to grab more contracts for energy storage system, home storage and energy storage solutions from banks, hospitals, industries, and government contracts for villages, defence, railways and telecom sector, among others.

The company has been supporting various green energy initiatives in the country by producing a range of Li-ion batteries which caters to a wide range of applications.

It produces Li-ion batteries for 2W/3W/4W categories for commercial vehicles, loaders, fork lift trucks, golf carts, among others.

The company manufactures high quality batteries for e-scooter, e-rickshaw, e-auto, solar street lights and solar led energy storage systems.

Ruchira Green Earth was established in 2020 with a focus on bringing cutting edge technology in li-ion batteries and allied products for various applications in e-mobility, telecom, solar segments, ESS etc.
