RRECL Invites Bids for 511 MW Rooftop Solar Projects in Government Buildings in Rajasthan
Rajasthan Renewable Energy Corporation Ltd. (RRECL) has issued a tender for the empanelment of bidders to design, supply, erect, test, and commission 511 MW of rooftop solar projects on state government buildings across Rajasthan.

Rajasthan Renewable Energy Corporation Ltd. (RRECL) has floated an empanelment tender to design, supply, erect, test and commission a cumulative of 511 MW rooftop solar projects on state government buildings in Rajasthan.
The scope of work includes design, supply, erection, testing and commissioning with net metering including comprehensive operation and maintenance for 25 years for those 511 MW rooftop solar plants.
The last date for submission of bids is January 20, 2025. The techno-commercial bids will be opened on January 21, 2025.
Bidders need to pay INR 5,900 (including GST) as a tender document fee and another INR 2,500 as a processing fee.
Bidders need to furnish an earnest deposit money (EMD) of INR 8.7 lakh/MW. Bid security for small-scale industries of Rajasthan is INR 2.17 lakh/MW.
The tender document specifies that all the bidders will required to bid for a minimum capacity of 5 MW and a maximum capacity of 100 MW.
The bidder must have designed, supplied (supply of modules/inverters can be inclusive or exclusive in the bidder’s scope in the past experience), installed, tested and commissioned at least one grid-connected solar PV power plant with a minimum capacity of 5 kWp and cumulative capacity of grid-connected solar PV power plant(s) equal to or more than 10 percent of quoted capacity commissioned in the last 7 years, prior to the bid submission date.
As for financial eligibility, the bidder must have a minimum net worth of INR 60 lakh/MW. Additionally, the bidder must possess a minimum average annual turnover (MAAT) of INR 100 lakh/MW. MAAT of the best three years out of the last five audited financial years ending 2023-24 will be considered.
