REPLUS Engitech Pvt. Ltd., headquartered in Pune, India, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Green Power Monitor (GPM), a DNV company based in Barcelona, Spain, to advance AI-enabled Energy Management Systems (EMS) and Power Plant Controllers (PPC) in India and other markets.
This collaboration aims to enhance grid security, stability, and the integration of Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) and renewable energy solutions.
This collaboration focuses on promoting advanced AI-enabled Energy Management Systems (EMS) and Power Plant Controllers (PPC) in India and other international markets. The partnership aims to enhance grid stability, security, and the seamless integration of renewable energy and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) to address growing energy needs sustainably.
GPM’s advanced technology plays a critical role in this initiative. Its Power Plant Controller is a sophisticated digital control system that manages various power parameters, including active and reactive power, voltage, frequency, ramp control, and power factor. The system operates effectively across diverse energy platforms like solar, wind, BESS, and diesel-hybrid plants, ensuring compliance with grid codes. GPM’s EMS adds further value by using real-time adaptation based on weather and energy price forecasts, facilitating high-priority dispatches from grid operators for efficient energy management.
REPLUS Engitech, a DPIIT-recognised company, brings its expertise in deploying large-scale MWh and GWh Battery Energy Storage Systems based on Lithium-ion technology. The company’s in-house capabilities include battery pack manufacturing, Battery Management Systems, and customized EMS with forecasting and scheduling features. Through this partnership, REPLUS aims to enhance its role as a leading provider of engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) solutions and system integration for hybrid energy systems and grid applications.
The collaboration reflects a shared commitment to advancing clean energy solutions and supporting the transition to renewable energy. By combining GPM’s state-of-the-art technology with REPLUS’s robust manufacturing and integration expertise, the partnership is set to drive innovations in energy management, benefiting utilities and communities while fostering a sustainable energy future.
