Renesas Becomes Member of Global Semiconductor Alliance

Japanese semiconductor manufacturer Renesas Electronics Corporation has joined the Global Semiconductor Alliance (GSA), which raises the voice of the global semiconductor industry.

Japanese semiconductor manufacturer Renesas Electronics Corporation has joined the Global Semiconductor Alliance (GSA), which raises the voice of the global semiconductor industry.

Renesas is a premier supplier of advanced semiconductor solutions, microcontrollers, analog, power, and SoC products. It also provides comprehensive solutions for a broad range of automotive, industrial, infrastructure, and IoT applications.

Commenting on the development, Hidetoshi Shibata, CEO at Renesas, said, “I am excited for Renesas to join the Global Semiconductor Alliance.”

Shibata further added “being a GSA member will allow Renesas deeper collaboration with our partners and peers to accelerate technology advancements and fuel the semiconductor industry’s growth.”

“We are very pleased to have Renesas join the GSA,” said Jodi Shelton, co-founder and CEO of GSA.

Shelton also said “Renesas brings a wealth of industry knowledge to the Alliance and we look forward to their contributions to our industry events, interest groups and resources. As the GSA gains new members, we are ultimately supporting and enhancing the global semiconductor ecosystem.”

As a member of the GSA, the company will benefit from the unique neutral platform provided for collaboration, where global executives may interface and innovate with peers, partners and customers to accelerate industry growth and maximize return on invested and intellectual capital.
