In Uttar Pradesh, Reliance Industries will invest Rs 75,000 crore over the next four years to set up 10 GW of renewable energy capacity, the largest in the state, and start a bio-energy business that will aid farmers in becoming energy providers.
Reliance Industries Chairman, Mukesh Ambani, announces Rs 75,000 crore investment in Uttar Pradesh's multiple business segments, including renewable energy sector over the next four years.
“We will set up 10 GW of renewable energy capacity, the largest in UP. We will also start an ambitious new bio-energy business,” Ambani said.
The organization is investing Rs. 6 lakh crores in multiple green energy projects in Gujarat, so a big queue ahead in projects spread which is related to renewable energy plants.
Now, UP also joined the queue of the renewable projects marking sustainable development; our farmers are already food cultivators along with switching to cultivate energy.
He explained these new investments will generate supplementary above 1 Lakh employment opportunities. The project would provide an advantage to farmers and peasants helping in solid waste management and revamping the environment.
He has ideas to lay the business ranging from oil-to-telecom amalgamation into a bio-energy business, transforming bio-waste into gas which can be utilized as a fuel in industries, use in automobiles or igniting kitchen stoves.
RIL recently in India Energy Week 2023 in Bengaluru, displayed a truck that runs on hydrogen, whose rear emissions are water and oxygen.
Ambani's vision aligns with the company's goal to become the world's leading new energy and new materials company by 2035.
