Reliance Industries Ltd., led by Chairman and Managing Director Mukesh Ambani, has revealed plans to make substantial investments in renewable energy and green hydrogen projects in Tamil Nadu.
Ambani, addressing the Tamil Nadu Global Investors Meet-2024 via video conferencing, emphasized the commitment to collaborate with the state government for fostering sustainable development and addressing the climate crisis.
Ambani highlighted Reliance's existing contributions to Tamil Nadu's economic landscape. The company has opened nearly 1,300 retail stores, investing over INR 25,000 crore, and Jio has injected over INR 35,000 crore into the state, extending the digital revolution to 35 million subscribers across every town and village.
