REIL Invites Bids for 15 MW Rooftop Solar Projects on State Government Buildings in Rajasthan
Rajasthan Electronics and Instruments Ltd. (REIL) has invited bids for the survey, design, supply, and commissioning of 15 MW rooftop solar PV projects on state government buildings in Rajasthan, along with 25 years of operation and maintenance. Bid submission ends on January 24, 2025.

Rajasthan Electronics and Instruments Ltd. (REIL) has floated a tender for survey, design, supply, erection, testing, and commissioning of grid-connected rooftop solar PV projects aggregating to 15 MW on state government buildings in Rajasthan.
The bidders also need to provide comprehensive operation and maintenance for the plants for a period of 25 years.
The bidders need to pay INR 5,000 as a tender document fee. Further, they need to furnish INR 8.70 lakh/MW as an earnest money deposit (EMD).
The last date for submission of bids is January 24, 2025. The techno-commercial bids will be opened on January 25, 2025.
All the bidders shall be required to bid for a minimum capacity of 5 MW. Bid in any district cannot be less than 5 MW.
They must allocate their eligible capacity across their preferred districts, either equally or in varying amounts, specifying the per MW rate for each preferred district. REIL would have the choice to invite the L1 bidder from another district if no bids are received for a particular district which the concerned L1 bidder would be mandated to accept.
The bidder should have designed, supplied (supply of modules/inverters can be inclusive or exclusive in the bidder’s scope in the past experience), installed, tested and commissioned at least one grid-connected solar PV power plant with a minimum capacity of 5 kWp and cumulative capacity of grid-connected solar PV power plant(s) equal to or more than 10 percent of quoted capacity commissioned in the last 7 years, prior to the bid submission date.
The bidder must have a minimum net worth of INR 60 lakh/MW. The bidder must have a Minimum Average Annual Turnover (MAAT) of INR 1 crore/MW, during the last three financial years.
The bidders also need to provide comprehensive operation and maintenance for the plants for a period of 25 years.
