REC Power Development and Consultancy Limited (RECPDCL), a subsidiary of REC Limited under the Ministry of Power, has issued a global invitation for solar power developers to establish 223 MW ISTS-connected solar power projects in India.

The projects will go through a tariff-based competitive bidding (TBCB) process under the Scheme for Flexibility in Generation Scheduling of Thermal/Hydro Power Stations, which includes bundling renewable energy and storage power.

Interested developers are invited to take part in the single-stage two-envelope process for 'Request for Selection (RFS)'. The notification and documents for the RfS are now available on the official websites of RECPDCL, REC Limited, and Bharat Electronic Tender.

Interested bidders can access the RfS documents on any working day from April 19, 2024, until the deadline for bid submission. A non-refundable document fee of INR 29,500/- is required, which includes GST.

Online bids will be accepted until May 13, 2024, while hard copies must be submitted by May 15, 2024. The bid opening is set for May 16, 2024.

Bids will be opened in the presence of representatives from participating bidders. Any clarifications to the RfS documents will be provided to bidders who have purchased the documents by paying the necessary fee.
