Rays Power Infra and Serentica Renewables to Establish 283 MW Solar Project

Rays Power Infra has inked an agreement with Serentica Renewables for a 283 MW solar project.

The project will generate a number of job opportunities and business growth avenues for subcontractors.

Rays Power Infra is a solar power company with a commissioned 1.30 GWp portfolio.

Ketan Mehta, CEO & MD of Rays Power Infra, said, “We are pleased to inform you that Rays has signed a 283 MWp Solar EPC project with Serentica Renewables. This is the result of our collective hard work and effort. As we scale up, the path ahead will be more challenging. We are also targeting our first BESS project and the first floating solar project soon.”

"While the project is focused on solar energy, it will also create several job opportunities for local people and business growth avenues for the subcontractors. In our quest to establish Rays as a global EPC player, we are focusing on establishing more such power plants in Karnataka and other states," added Pawan Sharma, Director of Rays Power Infra.


Rays Power Infra Private Limited is a consolidated Solar Power Company in India with a presence all over the entire solar value chain.

Serentica Renewables gives RTC renewable energy enabling the transition of large-scale, energy-intensive industries to clean energy. In the medium term, Serentica targets to establish 5000MW of carbon-free generation capacity paired with different storage technologies.

Eventually, it targets to supply more than 15 billion units of clean energy yearly and offset 20 million tonnes of CO2 emissions.
