Ravindra Energy’s associate entity Energy In Motion (EIM) has begun commercial operations at India’s Largest Battery Swapping and Charging Station for Heavy Vehicles at the Nhava Sheva Freeport Container Terminal within Jawaharlal Nehru Port, Nhava Sheva.

Built to serve the growing demand for zero-emission logistics, the state-of-the-art automated station can serve upwards of 160 heavy Electric Vehicles (EV) per day with its installed power capacity of 3 MW, ensuring seamless operations and reduced downtime. Over 130 plus EIM-Foton EVs already operational at the port have begun availing the service.

This strategic deployment further strengthens India’s clean logistics ecosystem while demonstrating EIM’s commitment to innovation-led EV infrastructure development.

Narendra Murkumbi, Managing Director, Energy In Motion, said, “We are proud to partner with Nhava Sheva Freeport Container Terminal (NSFT) in creating a transformative EV ecosystem that drives efficiency and sustainability. NSFT, a joint venture of CMA Terminal Holdings, France and J M Baxi group, is a leader in green energy transition in the ports sector in India and we are working with them to electrify their entire vehicle fleet by the end of FY 2026-27.”
