Rajasthan Solar Facility to Receive 900 MW of Module Supply from Waaree Energies
This project is planned to be one of the largest solar power plants in India to use Waaree modules, representing a significant milestone for both firms.

Waaree Energies Ltd., the manufacturer of solar PV modules has announced the receipt of a contract from Serentica Renewables India Private Limited for a substantial 900 MW module supply deal. The modules will be deployed in a project located in Fatehgarh, Jaisalmer, Rajasthan, India.
This project is planned to be one of the largest solar power plants in India to use Waaree modules, representing a significant milestone for both firms. The delivery schedule for these Top-Con bifacial modules is set from August 2024 to February 2025. This deal involves the provision of the Waaree Elite Series N Type Topcon BiN-03-680 to 690Wp GTG Bifacial modules.

Waaree Energies will manage the complete manufacturing, testing, packing, and shipment of these solar PV modules, ensuring that the project is completed on schedule and to the highest quality standards. This project is projected to increase the region's renewable energy capacity while also reducing carbon emissions and promoting environmental sustainability.
As India advances towards its renewable energy targets, initiatives of this scale are intended to help realize the country's aim of a greener future.
