The Rajasthan Renewable Energy Corporation Ltd. (RRECL), the state’s nodal agency for renewable energy development, has launched the Distributed Renewable Energy Project Monitoring Tool (DRE-PMT) to strengthen technology driven monitoring of renewable energy projects across Rajasthan.
The platform was officially launched by Rajasthan Energy Minister Heeralal Nagar. The digital tool is designed to bring multiple renewable energy monitoring functions onto a centralised platform, supporting greater transparency, efficiency and data driven decision making.
The DRE-PMT integrates renewable energy project monitoring with real time generation tracking, subsidy and direct benefit transfer workflow monitoring, and monitoring of projects under schemes such as PM-KUSUM and PM Surya Ghar.
The platform also provides capabilities for rooftop solar project monitoring, DISCOM level project and generation tracking, vendor management and empanelment, along with centralised dashboards and data analytics.
According to RRECL, the platform is expected to improve the monitoring and management of Rajasthan’s expanding renewable energy ecosystem by providing stakeholders with consolidated project and generation data. The initiative is part of the state’s broader push towards technology enabled administration and more efficient implementation of renewable energy programmes.
