Rajasthan Invites Bids for 2,450 MW Solar Park Power Evacuation System in Bikaner

RSDCL invites online bids for constructing grid substations and transmission lines for Bikaner's 2,450 MW solar park. Project valued at INR 1,027 crore across three lots. Tender documents are available from April 9, and the last date for submission is May 13, 2025.

Rajasthan SolarPark Development Company Ltd (RSDCL), a Government of Rajasthan undertaking, has invited online tenders for the construction of a power evacuation system for the development of a 2,450 MW solar park at Pugal in Bikaner district.

The project, divided into three lots, involves the survey, design, engineering, supply, erection, testing, and commissioning of grid substations and associated transmission lines on a turnkey basis.The estimated total cost of the project is approximately INR 1,027.64 crore (excluding GST), with individual lot costs as follows: LOT-1 (INR 442.74 crore), LOT-2 (INR 427.34 crore), and LOT-3 (INR 157.55 crore).

Bidders can participate in one or multiple lots, provided they meet the eligibility criteria specified in the tender document.LOT-1 includes the construction of one 400/132 kV (4x315 MVA) substation, one 132/33 kV (6x100 MVA) substation, and two 132/33 kV (3x100 MVA) substations, along with associated 400 kV and 132 kV transmission lines. LOT-2 comprises one 400/132 kV (4x315 MVA) substation and two 132/33 kV (6x100 MVA) substations with associated lines. LOT-3 involves two 220/33 kV (3x80 MVA) substations and associated 220 kV lines.

Interested bidders must submit a bid security of 2 percent of the estimated procurement cost for the respective lot(s), either through a demand draft, banker’s cheque, or bank guarantee. Additionally, a non-refundable bid document fee of INR 29,500 and an e-procurement charge of INR 2,950 are applicable. Last date of submission is 13th May 2025.

The tender documents can be downloaded from April 9, 2025, from the Rajasthan eProcurement portal. This project is a significant step in Rajasthan’s renewable energy expansion, aiming to enhance power evacuation infrastructure for large-scale solar parks.
