PURE EV has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Jio Things Ltd., a subsidiary of Jio Platforms.
The agreement focuses on integrating smart digital clusters and telematics technology into PURE EV's electric vehicles.
The collaboration aims to improve the user experience through IoT solutions and digital integration. PURE EV will incorporate JioThings' smart digital clusters with IoT capabilities into their electric two-wheelers to enhance functionality. The partnership will enable 4G connectivity-based telematics, allowing riders to monitor vehicle performance metrics in real time. This technology is expected to provide users with actionable insights to optimize their riding experience.
JioThings' 4G Smart Digital Cluster, powered by AvniOS (based on Android Open Source Project), offers several features including data analytics, customizable interfaces, and compatibility with touchscreen displays. The technology is designed to streamline IoT integration for manufacturers.
Additionally, the Jio Automotive App Suite (JAAS) will be implemented, providing riders with access to various applications including JioStore, music streaming, web browsing, voice assistance, navigation, and gaming options.
