PSPCL Invites Bids to Procure 250 MW Solar Power from Intrastate Projects in Punjab
Punjab State Power Corporation has issued a tender to procure 250 MW of solar power from intrastate grid-connected projects of 50 MW and above in Punjab. Bid submission ends on May 28, 2026.

Punjab State Power Corporation (PSPCL) has floated a tender for purchasing 250 MW of solar power from 50 MW and above capacity grid-connected solar PV plants located in Punjab.
A bidder can offer projects at multiple locations, subject to each project having a minimum capacity of 50 MW with cumulative capacity offered not exceeding 125 MW. Only PSPCL/PSTCL grid-connected intrastate projects would be eligible
Bidders need to pay INR 29,500 as the cost of the tender document and INR 3.54 lakh as a processing fee. Further, they need to furnish INR 10 lakh/MW as an earnest money deposit (EMD).
The last date for submission of bids is May 28, 2026. The techno-commercial bids will be opened on June 1, 2026.
PSPCL shall enter into a PPA with the successful bidders for a period of 25 years from the Scheduled Commencement of Supply Date of the project.
Solar PV modules and Solar PV cells used in the project must be sourced only from the models and manufacturers included in the MNRE’s ALMM List-I (for solar PV modules) and ALMM List-II (for solar PV cells).
The net worth of the bidder must be at least 1 crore/MW as on the last date of FY26 or FY25 or as on the day not more than seven days prior to the due date of bid submission.
To prove financial capability for the project, the bidder must meet at least one of these: annual turnover of INR 50 lakh/MW in FY26 or FY25, Profit Before Depreciation Interest and Taxes (PBDIT) of INR 10 lakh/MW, or a bank credit line sanction of INR 12.5 lakh/MW for the quoted capacity.
