Prozeal Green Energy and Golyan Power Enters into JV for 500 MW Solar Projects in Nepal
Together the two companies will develop over 500 MW of solar energy projects, including rooftop and ground-mounted solar photovoltaic (PV) plants, across multiple locations in Nepal over the next 18 months.

Ahmedabad-based Prozeal Green Energy Ltd and Nepalese firm Golyan Power Ltd. have signed a joint venture for setting up solar projects in Nepal. While Prozeal Green Energy will hold a 60 percent stake in the JV, Golyan Power will own the remaining 40 percent.
Together, the two companies will develop over 500 MW of solar energy projects, including rooftop and ground-mounted solar photovoltaic (PV) plants, across multiple locations in Nepal over the next 18 months.
The primary goal of this JV is to harness Nepal's solar potential and deliver clean, sustainable energy solutions. The projects will cater to both Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA) and Commercial & Industrial consumers.
Commenting on the development, Shobit Rai, Director, Prozeal Green Energy said, “This joint venture between Prozeal Green Energy and Golyan Group represents a powerful alliance between Nepal and India. Together, we’re setting new benchmarks for clean energy and sustainability in Nepal.”
Akshay Golyan, Director, Golyan Power added, “Nepal is growing rapidly in the renewable energy sector, and I am confident that this partnership will open up new avenues for both entities.”
As part of this agreement, Prozeal Green Energy will act as the EPC lead, leveraging its vast expertise in renewable energy projects. Golyan Group will focus on business development, land acquisition, and financing, further strengthening the partnership.
