POWERGIRD Acquires 2 Transmission Projects for INR 26.57 Crore
Power Grid Corporation of India has acquired two transmission SPVs from PFC Consulting for INR 26.57 crore under tariff-based competitive bidding, aimed at strengthening power infrastructure in Rajasthan and Karnataka.

Power Grid Corporation of India has announced that the company has acquired two transmission special purpose vehicles (SPV) from PFC Consulting after emerging as successful bidder under tariff-based competitive bidding (TBCB) for a combined sum of INR 26.57 crore.
The first SPV – Fatehgarh II and Barmer I PS Transmission, was established for the development of ‘Augmentation at Fatehgarh-11 PS, Fatehgarh-IV PS (Section-11) and Barmer-I PS’. The project comprises ICT augmentation works at existing and under construction sub-stations in Rajasthan. It has been acquired for an aggregate value of about INR 6.86 crore.
The second SPV – Chitradurga Bellary REZ Transmission, was established for the development of ‘Transmission Scheme for integration of Davanagere/Chitradurga REZ and Bellary REZ in Kamataka’.
The project comprises establishment of new 765/400/220kV pooling sub station near Davangere/Chitradurga and a new 400/220kV pooling sub station near Bellary along with 765kV and 400kV D/C transmission lines and upgradation works for existing sub-station and transmission line. The entire scope of works is situated in Karnataka. It has been acquired for an aggregate value of about INR 19.71 crore.
