POWERCHINA has secured a pivotal contract for the Conchagua 30MW Solar EPC Project in El Salvador, marking the start of contract management activities.

The project is situated in the La Unión Bay area, approximately 145 kilometers southeast of San Salvador, El Salvador's capital. It encompasses the design, construction, equipment supply and installation, trial operation, and commercial operation testing of a 30MW photovoltaic power plant and a 34.5/115kV substation.

The project is anticipated to generate 71.216 GWh of electricity annually, equivalent to 1,944 hours of utilization per year. It will also reduce carbon emissions by 50,000 metric tons, delivering efficient and clean green energy to thousands of households.

This solar power initiative is poised to create new economic growth opportunities and positively influence regional economic development.
