Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to address the 'Viksit Bharat Viksit Chhattisgarh' program via video conferencing. This event marks the inauguration, dedication to the nation, and laying of foundation stones for multiple development projects totaling over INR 34,400 crore.

Among the highlights, PM Modi will dedicate NTPC's Lara Super Thermal Power Project, Stage-I, with a capacity of 2x800 MW, to the nation. Additionally, he will lay the foundation stone for Stage-II of the project, a move that requires no additional land and entails an investment of INR 15,530 crore. Equipped with cutting-edge technologies, these projects aim to enhance energy efficiency while reducing carbon emissions.

Furthermore, the Prime Minister will inaugurate three key First Mile Connectivity (FMC) projects by South Eastern Coalfields Limited, promoting faster and eco-friendly coal evacuation. These projects, costing over INR 600 crores, will alleviate traffic congestion, minimize environmental impact, and reduce transportation costs.

In a bid to promote renewable energy, PM Modi will inaugurate a Solar PV Project in Rajnandgaon, expected to generate 243.53 million units of energy annually and mitigate around 4.87 million tons of CO2 emissions over 25 years. Additionally, a 50 MW Solar Power Plant in Bhilai will be dedicated, furthering the utilization of solar energy in the region, including its application in running trains.
