PM Modi, Russian Deputy PM Discuss Enhancing Trade and Energy Ties

Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Russian Deputy Prime Minister Denis Manturov discussed strengthening India-Russia ties across key areas, including trade, economic relations, connectivity, and energy.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi discussed ways to strengthen the India-Russia ties on various fronts including trade, economic ties, connectivity and energy with the first Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation, Denis Manturov.

“They exchanged views on enhancing cooperation in various areas, including trade and economic ties, energy, connectivity among others,” informed the Prime Minister’s Office in a statement.

This underscores the two nation’s ongoing efforts in bolstering their special strategic partnership.

PM Modi welcomed the sustained and joint efforts being made by the teams in both sides for the implementation of the decisions taken during his recent visits and meetings with President Putin to further strengthen India-Russia special and privileged strategic partnership.

PM Modi extended his warm greetings to President Putin and said that he looked forward to continued exchanges with him.
