India has made significant strides in reducing vehicle emissions over the past two decades through the introduction of initiatives such as the Bharat Stage Emissions Standards. A key component of these efforts has been the expanded adoption of compressed natural gas (CNG) as a lower-carbon fuel alternative. With the Indian government’s aim to establish CNG infrastructure nearing 100 percent coverage by 2032 and its mandates promoting CNG use in public transport, the demand for high-performance, efficient CNG injection systems is growing rapidly.
PHINIA brings its proven CNG injection systems to Bharat Mobility. These systems enhance fuel efficiency and reduce CO2 emissions by up to 25 percent compared to gasoline, aligning with India’s goal of transitioning to cleaner alternative fuels, while maintaining vehicle performance.
