Pedego Opens New Store in Ocean City

Award-winning electric bike company Pedego Electric Bikes, based in Orange County in California, has opened its newest store in Ocean City, New Jersey. 

As the East coast state hits its all-time record for gas prices, the state is innovating new ways to minimize its carbon footprint while also becoming less dependent on fossil fuels. New Jersey recently signed a contract with global engineering firm Aecon to propagate the electrification of the state's buses.

Even on an individual level, the people of the state are taking measures to conserve the usage of fossil fuels and increase the amount of walking and cycling in their daily lives.

In a recent development, electric bikes are finding popularity as a mode of transportation, in addition to walking and traditional cycling. New Jersey houses 10 Pedego Electric Bike stores, including the one opening in Ocean City.
