ONGC Invites Bids for 10 MW Floating Solar Project in Gujarat

Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Ltd. has issues a tender for the design, supply, installation and commissioning of floating solar power plant of 10 MW AC capacity at Hazira Plant in Gujarat. Bid submission ends on April 6, 2025.

Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Ltd. has floated a tender for the design, supply, installation and commissioning of floating solar power plant of 10 MW AC capacity at Hazira Plant in Gujarat.

The proposed floating solar plant is proposed to be installed over two water reservoirs at ONGC Hazira plant.

The last date for submission of bids is April 6, 2025. The techno-commercial bids will be opened on April 7, 2025.

Bidders need to furnish INR 51.75 lakh as an earnest money deposit (EMD). Selected bidders need to deposit 10 percent of the contract value as security deposit.

Power generated in the floating solar plant to be evacuated from local substations through power cable at 11 kV.

Minimum certified module efficiency shall be minimum 20.5 percent.

The bidder must possess, prior to the deadline of submission of bids, minimum experience of executing at least one project on turnkey basis in the last 10 years involving design, supply, installation and commissioning of at least one solar power project with a capacity of at least 5 MW (AC) along with associated works.

Bidders must possess average turnover of at least INR 17.65 crore in the last 2 years. The net worth of the bidder must be positive. Further, the bidder must possess a working capital of at least INR 5.29 crore and the debt-equity ratio should be less than 2:1.
