Odisha Approves INR 25,000 Crore Solar Equipment Facility in Dhenkanal District

Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik ratified five industrial projects worth INR 35,760 crore which would create employment for around 38,100 people.
The five projects approved at the meeting of High-Level Clearance Authority (HLCA) led by Naveen Patnaik.
The sanctioned projects are stretched over the various sectors and industries such as IT & ESDM /green energy equipment, steel, chemicals and textile.
The official stated that the planned projects will be establish throughout many parts of the state including Bhadrak, Dhenkanal, Jagatsinghpur and Keonjhar districts.
The committee has allowed to two projects in the steel sector, one project in green energy and equipment, one project in the chemicals sector, and one project in technical textile sector.
The HLCA accepted the offer of WAREE Energies Limited, involving an investment of about INR 25,000 crore. It proposes to establish an Integrated Solar Equipment Manufacturing Complex by installing of 50,000 MT Polysilicon, 10,000 MW each of Ingot, Wafer, Solar Cells, and Solar Module at Neulopoi, in Dhenkanal district.
The official mentioned about the planned project is anticipated to generate employment opportunities to around 14,000 people in Odisha. The manufacturing amenity is considered as the huge in eastern India which will evolve and progress the ecosystem for further investment in this sector.
