NVVNL Invites Bids for 6.32 MW AC Rooftop and Ground Mounted Solar PV Projects

NTPC Vidyut Vyapar Nigam Ltd., a wholly owned subsidiary of NTPC Ltd., has issued a tender for the development of 6.32 MW AC rooftop and ground-mounted solar PV power projects at NTPC stations Simhadari and Ramagundam in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. Bid submission closes on November 6, 2024.

NTPC Vidyut Vyapar Nigam Ltd., a wholly owned subsidiary of NTPC Ltd., has floated a tender for the development of rooftop and ground-mounted solar PV power projects at NTPC stations Simhadari and Ramagundam in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.

The scope of work includes the Solar PV installation on rooftops of multiple buildings and land patches at various locations of stations, townships and other premises of NTPC and its subsidiaries in shadow-free areas in such a way that the generation is maximised.

Tentatively, rooftop solar capacity is pegged at 3.92 MW AC and the capacity of ground-mounted solar should be 2.40 MW AC, totalling 6.32 MW AC. The final plant capacity shall be as per the detailed engineering and approved design.

The project must be completed within 8 months.

Clarifications can be sought till October 30, 2024. Bid submission closes on November 6, 2024. Bids will be opened on November 7, 2024.

Bidders need to submit INR 7875 (including GST) as a bid document fee. They further need to deposit INR 20 lakh as bid security.

Bidders should have designed/engineered, supplied, erected/supervised erection and commissioned/supervised commissioning of Solar PV-based grid-connected power plant(s) of cumulative installed capacity of 400 kWp or higher, out of which at least one Solar PV plant should have been of 40 kWp or higher capacity. The reference plant of 40 kWp or higher capacity must have been in successful operation for at least six months prior to the last date of submission of the techno-commercial bid.

Alternatively, the bidder should be a developer of Solar PV-based grid-connected power plant(s) of cumulative installed capacity of 400 kWp or higher, out of which at least one Solar PV plant should have been of 40 kWp or higher capacity. The reference plant of 40 kWp or higher capacity must have been in successful operation for at least six months prior to the last date of submission of the techno-commercial bid.

Alternatively, the bidder should have executed in the last 10 years an industrial project either as a developer or as EPC Contractor in the area of power, steel, oil and gas, petrochemical, fertilizer, cement, coal mining including coal handling plant and or any other process industry, of a value of INR 4 crore or more in a single project or single work respectively and the same should be in successful operation for at least one year prior to techno-commercial bid opening date.

Additionally, the bidder should have executed at least one electrical sub-station of 11 kV or above voltage level, consisting of equipment such as 11 kV or above voltage level circuit breakers and power transformer, either as a developer or as EPC contractor which should be in successful operation for at least one year prior to techno-commercial bid opening date.
