NVVN Invites Bids for Enlistment of EPC Vendors for 20 MWp Solar PV Project

NTPC Vidyut Vyapar Nigam Limited (NVVN), a wholly owned subsidiary of NTPC Ltd., has announced the commencement of applications for the enlistment of engineering procurement construction (EPC) vendors for the development of rooftop and ground-mounted solar PV projects totaling 20 MWp capacity in a single tender.
Interested parties have until April 17, 2024, to submit their bids. The bid submission and opening dates are also scheduled for April 17.
The scope of work for the solar PV projects includes various aspects such as design/engineering, supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of ground-mounted and rooftop solar PV plants. Additionally, it encompasses site preparation, electrical and civil works, module cleaning systems, construction of approach roads and pathways, SCADA system implementation, remote solar metering, and operation and maintenance services for up to 10 years post-commissioning.
Applicants must meet specific eligibility criteria to participate in the tender. Technical criteria include prior experience in designing, engineering, and commissioning solar PV-based grid-connected power plants, with a minimum cumulative installed capacity of 400 kWp or higher. Financial criteria involve meeting specified annual turnover and net worth requirements.
