NVNN Issues Rate Contract Tender for Grid-Connected Rooftop Solar PV Projects Above 1000 kW
NTPC Vidyut Vyapar Nigam has released a tender for the selection and discovery of L1 rates for rate contracts for EPC of grid-connected rooftop solar PV projects above 1000 kW across India. Bid submission ends on October 14, 2024.

The validity of the empanelment of rate contract of EPC contractors at L1 rates discovered shall be nine months from the date of issue of Intimation with a provision for extension of a further period of three months.
All bids must be accompanied by Bid Security for an amount of INR 20,00,000. Clarification can be sought till September 27, 2024. Bids can be submitted from September 27, 2024, till October 14, 2024. Bids will be opened on October 15, 2024.
As per the tender document, the successful bidder shall be exclusively responsible for design, engineering, testing and all other relevant activities like preliminary visual assessment of roof, water arrangements, electricity, security and determining optimal capacity for setting up of Solar PV Plants and O&M activities for 10 years.
It further mentioned that only Class-I and Class-II Local Suppliers are eligible to Bid. Further, purchase preference shall be given to ‘Class-I local suppliers’ and the margin of purchase preference shall be 20 percent.
