NVNN Invites Bids for 7.227 MWac Rooftop Solar Projects Under Assam Rifles

NTPC Vidyut Vyapar Nigam Ltd. has issued a tender for a 7.227 MWac grid-connected rooftop solar project under Assam Rifles. Bid submission closes on December 2, 2024.

NTPC Vidyut Vyapar Nigam Ltd., a wholly owned subsidiary of NTPC Ltd., has floated a tender for the development of 7.227 MWac KW grid-connected rooftop solar power project under Assam Rifles.

The project must be completed in 7 months.

Bid submission closes on December 2, 2024. The techno-commercial bids will be opened on December 3, 2024.

All bids must be accompanied by Bid Security for an amount of INR 50 lakh.

As per the tender document, 'Class-l local suppliers' and 'Class-Il local suppliers' only are eligible to participate in this tender.

The scope of work includes the solar PV installation on various premises/buildings as mentioned in Annexure A1 of Section VI of the tender document on shadow free area. The final plant capacity shall be as per the detailed engineering and approved design for each of the building.

Permanent MS Staircase/ladder of minimum width 1 m and finished with primer and weather resistant enamel paint for roof top access shall be provided for each building where the rooftop solar PV panels are to be installed and roof access is not available.

The successful bidder shall be exclusively responsible for preliminary visual assessment of roof, water and electricity arrangements, security and determining optimal capacity for setting up of solar PV plants and O&M activities.

“The project site shall be handed over to the bidder on as is where is basis. The bidder should inspect and examine the site and its surroundings and should satisfy himself as to the nature of the roof, the quantities and nature of work, materials necessary for completion of the work and their availability, means of access to site and in general shall himself obtain all necessary information as to risks, contingencies and other circumstances which may influence or affect his offer,” noted the tender document.
