NTPC Vidyut Vyapar Nigam Invites Bids for 6 MW Solar Project in Telangana
NTPC Vidyut Vyapar Nigam Ltd. (NVVN) has invited bids for a 6 MW ground-mounted solar power project at Cement Corporation of India’s Tandur facility in Telangana. Bid submission ends on April 24, 2025.

NTPC Vidyut Vyapar Nigam Ltd. (NVVN) has floated a tender for the development of 6 MW (2x3 MW) ground-mounted solar power project for Cement Corporation of India (CCI) at Tandur, Telangana.
The scope of work includes EPC works for development of 2 x 3 MW ground-mounted solar PV project for CCI at their factory in Tandur, Telangana. The solar PV plant must be connected behind the meter and all the requisite approvals are to be obtained by the bidder.
The scope also includes comprehensive operation and maintenance for 10 years and AMC for critical equipment for 10 years.
Bidders must deposit INR 50 lakh as a bid security. Selected bidders must submit a performance bank guarantee equal to 10 percent of the contract value.
The last date for submission of bids is April 24, 2025. The techno-commercial bids will be opened on April 25, 2025.
Class-I local suppliers and Class-II local suppliers only are eligible to participate in this tender.
Solar PV modules including solar PV cells and inverter must be necessarily procured from Class-I supplier only.
CCI plans to fund the project through a mix of external commercial borrowings, domestic loans, or internal resources, with NVVN serving as the management consultant.
The contractor is required to use 540 Wp modules listed in the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy’s Approved List of Models and Manufacturers (ALMM). These modules must carry performance warranties, ensuring at least 90 percent output after 10 years and 80 percent after 25 years.
