NTPC Renewable Energy Tenders BoS Package for 200 MW Solar PV Project in Rajasthan

NTPC Renewable Energy has issued a tender for a BoS package for a 200 MW grid-connected solar PV project in Bikaner, Rajasthan. Bid submission ends on May 5, 2026.

NTPC Renewable Energy, a wholly-owned subsidiary of NTPC Green Energy, has floated a tender for a Balance of System (BoS) package for the development of a 200 MW grid-connected solar PV project at Bikaner, Rajasthan.
 
The scope of work includes design, engineering, manufacturing, supply, packing and forwarding, transportation, unloading, storage, installation, testing, and commissioning of a solar photovoltaic plant, excluding the supply of solar PV modules.
 
Bidders must also offer comprehensive operation and maintenance of the SPV Plant, along with electrical equipment, consumables, and spare parts, for a period of three years.
 
Bidders must deposit INR 5 crore as a bid security.
 
The last date for submission of bids is May 5, 2025 till 3:00 PM. The techno-commercial bids will be opened on the same day at 3:30 PM.
 
Bidders will also be responsible for all associated electrical and civil works required for interfacing with the grid (i.e., transformers, panels, protection system, cables, metering at 33kV level, facilitation for grid compliance study as per regulation, etc.). Power evacuation in the scope of the package shall be up to 33kV main pooling switchgear at the owner's pooling substation, as mentioned in the tender document.
 
The bidder must be a developer or an EPC company having designed, supplied, erected/supervised erection, and commissioned/supervised commissioning of Balance of System (BoS) of Solar Photovoltaic (SPV) based grid-connected power plant(s) of cumulative installed capacity of 40 MWp or higher. Out of this, at least one plant must have been of 10 MWp or higher capacity. The reference plant of 10 MWp or higher capacity must have been in successful operation for at least six months prior to the date of the techno-commercial bid opening.
 
Alternatively, the bidder must have executed in the last 10 years an industrial project either as a developer or as an EPC contractor in the area of power, steel, oil and gas, petrochemical, fertilizer, cement, coal mining including coal handling plant and or any other process industry, of a value of at least INR 66 crore, in a single project or single work. The same should be in successful operation for at least one year for industrial projects other than RE projects and for at least six months for solar and wind projects.
 
Additionally, the bidder must have executed at least one electrical sub-station of 33 kV or above voltage level, consisting of equipment such as 33 kV or above voltage level circuit breakers and power transformer, either as a developer or as an EPC Contractor. The same should be in successful operation for at least one year for industrial projects other than RE projects and for at least six months for RE projects, prior to the date of techno-commercial bid opening.
 
The average annual turnover of the bidder must not be less than INR 66 crore during the preceding three financial years as on the date of the techno-commercial bid opening.
