NTPC Renewable Energy Commences Operations of Shajapur Solar Project in Madhya Pradesh
NTPC Green Energy has announced that its subsidiary, NTPC Renewable Energy, has commenced commercial operation of the first 55 MW phase of its 105 MW Shajapur solar project in Madhya Pradesh.

The newly listed NTPC Green Energy has announced that its subsidiary NTPC Renewable Energy has commenced commercial operation of its Shajapur solar project in Madhya Pradesh.
The company, in a regualtory filing, has informed that only the first part of 55 MW out of 105 MW is now operational.
“We wish to inform you that consequent upon successful commissioning, first part capacity of 55 MW out of 105 MW Shajapur Solar Project (Unit-I) at Shajapur, M.P of NTPC Renewable Energy Ltd. (a wholly owned subsidiary of NTPC Green Energy Ltd.), is declared on Commercial Operation,” shared the company in the filing.
In a separate filing the NTPC stated that with this, the total installed and commercial capacity of the NTPC group has now become 76530.68 MW.
