NTPC Releases Tender For Rooftop Solar Plant worth 900 kW at Bongaigaon, Assam

The National Thermal Power Corporation (NTPC) has announced that it has released a tender inviting online bids from entitled bidders for the development of 900 kW Rooftop solar PV project at NTPC-Bongaigaon for Bongaigaon Thermal Power Project situated at Kokrajhar district of Assam.

The Project site is located between Kokrajhar and New Bongaigaon railway station of North Eastern Frontier Railway.

The last date for bid submissions is March 02, 2019, and the technical bid opening has been scheduled for March 04, 2019. All bidders are requisite to present an Earnest Money Deposit (EMD) of Rs 5 lakhs along with their bids.

The concise range of work for eligible bidders will include the design, supply, erection, testing, commissioning of the 900 kW rooftop solar PV panels integrated with the grid at NTPC Bongaigaon Additionally, all bidders will also be required to provide comprehensive Operation and Maintenance  (O&M) of the project.

To be entitled, the bidder should have designed, supplied, erected/supervised erection and commissioned/supervised commissioning of SPV based grid-connected power plant of at least one plant of 100 kW or above and cumulative capacity of 720 kW or above. And, should have an average annual turnover not be less than Rs 4.09 crore during the preceding three financial years as on date of techno-commercial bid opening.
