NTPC Renewable Energy (NTPC REL) has floated a land and power evacuation package for the development of 240 MW ISTS-connected solar PV projects with battery energy storage near the 240 MW Devikot Solar Project of NTPC Green Energy (NGEL), Rajasthan.
The scope of work includes the arrangement of government/private land (5 acre/MW) on a freehold/leasehold basis near the 240 MW Devikot Solar Project for the proposed 240 MW solar plant with BESS. The lease period must be a minimum of 29 years and 11 months. Government land must be a maximum of 10 percent of the total land.
Bidders must also design, engineer, erect, test, and commission an AIS pooling substation and a 33 kV switchgear for interconnection between the 240 MW solar project and the 240 MW BESS.
Bidders need to pay INR 22,500 as a tender document fee. Further, they need to furnish INR 2 crore as an earnest money deposit (EMD).
The last date for the submission of bids is April 29, 2025 till 3:00 PM. The techno-commercial bids will be opened on April 29, 2025 at 3:30 PM.
The bidder must have executed an arrangement of land for grid-connected solar PV projects/solar parks or wind projects/wind parks or a combination thereof, of cumulative capacity of 100 MW or higher, out of which at least one project/park must be of 50 MW or higher capacity.
Alternatively, the bidder must have executed in the last 10 years an industrial project either as a developer or as an EPC contractor in the area of power, steel, oil and gas, petrochemical, fertilizer, cement, coal mining including coal handling plant and or any other process industry, of a value of INR 23.50 crore or more, in a single project or single work.
The same should be in successful operation for at least one year for industrial projects other than RE projects and for at least six months for solar and wind projects.
Additionally, the bidder must have executed at least one electrical sub-station of 33 kV or above voltage level, consisting of equipment such as 33 kV or above voltage level circuit breakers and power transformer, either as a developer or as an EPC Contractor. The same should be in successful operation for at least one year for industrial projects other than RE projects and for at least six months for RE projects, prior to the date of techno-commercial bid opening.
The average annual turnover of the bidder must not be less than INR 23.50 crore, during the preceding three financial years as on the date of techno-commercial bid opening. Bidders must have positive net worth as on the last day of the preceding financial year.
