NTPC REL Starts Commercial Supply of 30 MW from Solar PV Project in Gujarat
NTPC Renewable Energy Ltd., a step-down subsidiary of NTPC Ltd., has commenced commercial operation of 30 MW out of its 150 MW solar PV project in Mesanka, Gujarat, bringing NTPC Group's total installed capacity to 76,560.68 MW.

“We wish to inform you that on the basis of a certificate dated December 18, 2024 issued by Gujarat Energy Development Agency, the second part capacity of 30 MW out of 150 MW Gujarat Solar PV Project in Mesanka, Gujarat of NTPC Renewable Energy Ltd. (NTPC REL), a step-down subsidiary of NTPC Ltd. through its subsidiary NTPC Green Energy Ltd., is declared on commercial Operation w.e.f. 00:00 hrs of December 11, 2024,” shared the company in an exchange filing.
It further added that the first part capacity of 60 MW has already been declared on commercial operation with effect from July 29, 2024.
With this, the total installed and commercial capacity of the NTPC group has now become 76560.68 MW.
