Novare stresses that this step aligns with its wider sustainability strategy for the property portfolio, which targets to attain Edge certification for all its properties.
With a license secured to upgrade the system to a total capacity of 2,500 kW, Novare is pledged to expand this green initiative to other African countries.
Lerato Kumalo, Novare’s Chief Environmental, Social, and Governance and Impact Officer, underlines the firm’s dedication to sustainable development and offsetting its carbon footprint. The solar investment in Mozambique caters as an ideal for the African property industry, demonstrating how eco-friendly steps can foster competitiveness and contribute to a greener and more sustainable future for Africa.
