The auction commenced on February 13, 2024, at 11:30 AM and concluded at 12:48 PM the same day. Auction Number 2023/NHPC/778283/01 saw active participation from various energy companies vying for the opportunity to develop hybrid power projects.

Juniper Green Energy Private Limited emerged as the top bidder, securing an allocation of 150 units with a bid value of INR 3.48 per unit. Energizent Power Private Limited secured an allocation of 300 units at a bid value of 3.49 while Avaada Energy Private Limited secured an allocation of 510 units at a bid value of INR 3.49 per unit.
NHPC Limited's initiative to solicit bids for hybrid power projects reflects the company's commitment to expanding renewable energy sources and contributing to India's clean energy transition. These projects, harnessing both wind and solar energy, hold promise for enhancing the country's energy security while reducing carbon emissions.
